Early Childhood Ministries

The mission of Early Childhood Education of Cornerstone Church is to create a Christ-centered environment that focuses on the care and nurturing of children ages 8 weeks to 5 years old.  The ministry seeks to instill Christian character, values and beliefs, as well as to inspire children to explore, create and play as they develop both a love for Jesus Christ and a love for learning.

Early Childhood Ministries is dedicated to ministering to the spiritual and physical needs of children 8 weeks through Kindergarten age by providing a safe and caring environment.  During your child’s stay with us he/she will be taught about the love of God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  We believe it is important to begin nurturing a child’s faith at birth, and work diligently to create a feeling of acceptance, security, and joy in our classrooms.  Carefully trained teachers will help your child feel welcome and loved, so each visit to Cornerstone can be a positive experience.  We feel it is a very special ministry to receive your precious children.  We are the arms of Jesus extended.

Sunday Mornings- 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m.

8 weeks through 6 months - South Nursery
7 months through 12 months - North Nursery
13 months through 23 months - 1st floor "A" Building

2 year olds - 1st Floor "A" Building

Your child will be provided with basic biblical training and verse memorization.  During your child’s morning they will have a lesson, art time, video time, free play and a snack.

3 year olds - Kindergarten Age - 2nd Floor "A" Building

At this age, your child will attend Wee Worship. They will also participate in a Bible teaching, scripture memorization, arts and crafts, free play and a snack.

Wee Worship

Wee Worship is an exciting age related teaching and worship service for 3-year-olds through Kindergarten age children.  Through the use of puppets, drama, songs and object lessons your child will become biblically knowledgeable and spiritually mature for their age of development.

Sunday Evenings - 6:30 p.m

Early Childhood Ministries provides childcare for children 8 weeks through 3 years of age during Sunday Evening Services in the South and North Nurseries and in Education Building "A".

Joyful Noise Choir

Joyful Noise is a choir program for 4 and 5 year olds.  Joyful Noise meets during the Sundav Evening Service in Education Building "A".  During the choir program the children will have a Bible teaching and will practice songs for their Sanctuary performances.  Joyful Noise performs throughout the year.
