Fusion Middle School Youth Ministry for 6th - 8th Grade

Mission Statement: To create a place where youth:

We are totally excited about communicating the new service schedules for FUSION Middle School Ministry! My wife, Yady Diaz and I now pastor Cornerstone’s middle school students and we do not take this assignment lightly. We are excited about the vision God has placed in our hearts for this age group. We have great plans for the future but we need YOUR assistance to see it all come to fruition.

Our children are growing up in a culture where less and less of their peers are committing themselves to being followers of Christ. Sadly, by the time these kids reach adulthood, we can anticipate that only 6% of their peers will have unambiguous Christian commitments, whereas 30 years ago more than 40% of their peers would fully dedicate themselves to having such commitments established

If the current statistics continue, these children will grow up in a world where as little as 5 or 6 out of every 100 of their peers will hold true to a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This generation is in desperate need of proper training and development in God’s Word to direct their lives.

FUSION believes in preparing and equipping our 6th, 7th and 8th graders, otherwise known as “tweenagers”, with Biblical faith principles. We are determined, with God’s help and guidance to empower our children to be faithful followers of Christ, even as they grow in a country that has somehow abandoned its Christian foundation.

As previously mentioned, we do not take this calling lightly, and we pray that parents partner with FUSION by: (1) Constantly, praying for the ministry and the youth that attend, (2) Regularly, teaching your child the Word of God, (3) In all things, being examples of faithful disciples, and (4) Actively, getting involved in our ministry.
