Vote The Bible

It has been said that those who refuse to remember the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.

Let’s take a snapshot of America in 1776 and America in the year 2010 and compare what we were then and what have become now.

The meeting of the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 was a day in history where our forefathers adopted the Declaration of Independence drafted by Thomas Jefferson. It was to be a new nation that was to be known as the United States of America... a nation dedicated to a new and radical proposition that all men were created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This new experiment of personal liberty and human rights through representative government was uncommon. What was the guiding force that led them to form the foundation for the most powerful nation in the history of planet earth? That guiding force was the Word of God; The Bible!

George Washington, the father of our nation and first President who rejected being the king, said, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

John Quincy Adams, sixth President of the United States said, “The first and only book deserving of universal attention is the Bible. I speak as a man of the world... and I say to you, ‘Search the Scriptures.’”

Andrew Jackson, seventh President of the United States said concerning the Bible, “That Book sir, is the Rock upon which our Republic rests.”

Abraham Lincoln, sixteenth President of the United States said holding the Bible in his hand, “In regard for this Great Book, I have this to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the Good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book.”

Ulysses S. Grant, eighteenth President of the United States said, “Hold fast to the Bible as the Anchor of your liberties. Write its precepts in your hearts, and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this Book are we indebted for all the progress made in true civilization, and to this we must look as our guide in the future. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Harry Truman, thirty-third President of the United States made this statement that has become prophecy fulfilled concerning America: “The fundamental basis of this nation’s laws was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul... if we don’t have a proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up a totalitarian government which does not believe in rights for anybody except the State.”

The words of Harry Truman have become reality in America today. We have rejected the Word of God as the moral compass for our country and we are racing toward a totalitarian government called Socialism.

Our Founding Fathers had an absolute devotion to the Word of God and our present government mocks and ridicules the Word of God from the halls of government to the ivy covered walls of our most prestigious universities.

Our current president refused to attend the National Day of Prayer, has attended church twice since being elected president, says he worships over his Blackberry and covered a plaque reflecting the name of God while speaking at one of America’s foremost universities. Who is right? George Washington or Barak Obama?

The Bible is the birthplace of the work ethic that made the economic engines of America the envy of the world. Today, we are watching the death of capitalism and the birth of European socialism. Because of our titanic debt, we are watching the death of the dollar. The birth of a nuclear Iran is about to change the face of planet earth forever. America’s survival is in great danger.

Consider the following facts: Our recent credit crisis has revealed that the Federal Reserve, which no one in America controls has loaned $2 trillion in the span of two months, but will not tell the American people to whom they loaned the money. You, the American taxpayers are going to pay for it. This is exactly how the Boston Tea Party became a reality for our Founding Fathers. They refused to let government tax them into poverty!

America has ceased to be a producer nation and has become a consumer nation. Think what that could mean in a time of war for our national defense when we have to get what we need to defend ourselves from a nation or nations hostile to the United States.

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our students the founding principles of America. Students graduate who cannot read, write or speak intelligently. A significant percentage do not graduate from high school, thus forever joining the legions of the unemployed and poverty stricken who will be slaves of the state for life.

Compare that to high school graduates in early America who graduated from high school speaking and writing in two languages. Their basic text? The Bible! Who had it right?

America now lives under the iron fist of judicial tyranny. Federal judges who are not elected by the people rule over the will of the people after they go to the polls and vote. This violates the concept of “Government of the people, by the people and for the people.”

A new CNN poll finds that 61% of Americans opposed taxpayer funding of abortion, but now we know that Obamacare subsidizes abortion on demand. Plainly stated, your taxes are funding state supported murder! This defies the Founding Fathers objective of “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Abortion has killed 40 million Americans! Our universities and colleges are now filled with students recruited from foreign countries. They have no love or loyalty to America. They come from a global community with the “One World” view. They could care less if America surrenders its sovereignty to the United Nations and they are here by the millions. Is the big picture coming together?

America has mainstreamed Marxist organizations, like ACORN, which are corrupting the political process of fair and open elections. Even after being caught on film educating prostitutes on how to dodge taxation from the “IRS” and how to run a brothel with under aged children, some U.S. Congressmen defend this toxic and corrupt organization. Why?

Clearly America is going in the wrong direction. Comparing the words and deeds of our Founding Fathers and the words and deeds of our present government... America has lost its way!

BUT YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! In this forthcoming election in November, you, the all powerful voter can go to the voting booth and “VOTE THE BIBLE!” Vote for candidates at every level of government whose lives and voting records reflect the moral and spiritual principles found in the Word of God.
