Operate various types of buses and vehicles to transport students, employees and guests between locations. Responsible for safety of passengers, maintaining orderliness among passengers and following precise schedules. Commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements required.
Apply NowAssist with the safety, movement and care of the children boarding the school bus, leaving the bus or being transported. Aids students in the loading and unloading process. Assist passengers in evacuation of the vehicle in case of emergency. Familiar with bus routes and remains alert to monitor the welfare of passengers while in route. Seats self in an area on the bus to ensure observation of all passengers at all times and make sure safety regulations and student conduct rules are followed. Document and report any violations or conduct concerns to appropriate personnel. Assists in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus. Schedules are 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and follow the CCS school calendar. Casual status work schedules may range weekly up to 25 hours per week.

Perform various gardening and lawn maintenance to include but not limited to planting turf grass, bushes, trees, flowers and other plants at their proper depth and in a strategic pattern; maintain irrigation systems; pruning, mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing and watering of landscape. Use a variety of power hand tools to include but not limited to lawn mowers, tractors, chain saws, clippers and trimmers. Maintain and repair the ministry facilities, buildings and grounds including but not limited to the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural systems.
